UF CAN Named as a Center for Research

In June of 2022, the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (CAN) was awarded the designation as a Center for Research.

CAN already provides extraordinary clinical care for children and adults living with neurodevelopmental disorders. As of June 2022, CAN is now recognized by the University of Florida (UF) and Office of Academic Affairs and Research as a top-tier center for interdisciplinary clinical, translational and basic research in autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental disorders, making the University of Florida one of the top institutions nationally in this area.

With this designation, researchers are now able to increase their ability to bring transformative research to our community.
