UF Health Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment Patient Navigator; Graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors and Masters in Social Work, and a Masters in Developmental Disabilities from Nova Southeastern University. Megan has worked for many social agencies from Department of Children and Families to Children’s Home Society, and Early Steps. She has also worked in multiple UF Health departments including the Pediatric Pulmonary Center and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Along with her wonderful husband, they parent six beautiful children.
UF Health Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment Patient Navigator; Graduated from Santa Fe Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse; Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Tennessee State University, in Nashville, Tennessee becoming a Registered Nurse; after moving back home to Gainesville, Florida and taking a job with Shands Hospital holding positions ranging from Mother/Baby Nurse, Labor and Delivery nurse, as well as Nurse Educator. While working as a nurse educator at the hospital received a Masters in Nursing Leadership from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, Arizona. Then holding positions within the UF Health organization as Clinical Leader Mother/Baby/GYN unit, Reproductive Medicine Clinic RN and Nurse Educator for UF Health Physicians. Very proud to say that I have been with UF Health for the past 23 years, parent of an adult daughter, an autistic son, and a grandmother.
