The Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (CAN) offers a comprehensive range of programs and services designed to support individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental conditions across the lifespan. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to provide timely evaluations, evidence-based treatment, and coordinated care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Through our clinical care services, patient navigation support, rehabilitation programs, and access to specialty providers, we aim to make care easier to access and easier to navigate. Whether you are seeking diagnostic evaluation, therapy services, care coordination, or rehabilitation support, our team is committed to partnering with individuals and families every step of the way.
Explore the sections below to learn more about the programs and services available through CAN and UF Health.
Patient Navigation
Our patient navigators are here for you!
The patient navigator will be the first person you interact with when starting to receive services at CAN.
You can think of them as your GPS for the autism world.
UF Health CAN Autism Rehabilitation
We provide evaluation and treatment throughout the life span for people who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or another neurodevelopmental disorder. The rehab center provides speech, physical, and occupational therapy in collaboration with the CAN transdisciplinary team.
Associated Specialty Providers
People on the autism spectrum might experience other health issues than can require care from several different specialties. To provide the best care, CAN will direct our patients to specialty clinics within UF Health and the community, such as those listed at the link below.
